Miami Children’s Hospital in Miami, Fla., named its 3 North Playroom, located in the hospital’s hematology/oncology unit, in honor of The Dosal Family Foundation and Margarita C. Dosal on March 9, 2012. The Foundation donated $500,000 to the hospital, which was used toward a playroom for patients with cancer and blood disorders to use during their stay at the hospital. With this contribution, The Dosal Family Foundation has given the children who are patients in the oncology/hematology wing a sense of normalcy during their stay, as well as the opportunity to interact with other patients in a positive environment.
“Each year that I have worked here, I have received an increase in my salary that helps support my wife and allows me to pay my monthly bills on time – mortgage, car payment and various other bills. I enjoy working here because we are treated as family.”
“My husband and I rely on this job in order to support our daughter who is attending college. Not only do we receive a good salary, we receive benefits that include medical, 401(k), vacation time, and sick days. The Dosal family also gives us uniforms and protective eye and face wear. I would love to work at Dosal until I retire because they treat us like family and I enjoy working with my husband.”
