St. Lawrence Children’s Center in Kenya, Africa, is an orphanage offering food, shelter and schooling to more than 90 of Africa’s children who have lost their parents to H.I.V./Aids. The Dosal Family Foundation’s monetary gift of $25,000 has allowed the orphanage to purchase land and begin construction of a new school for the children. The donation will also assist in not only providing the basic necessities of life to these children, but also hope for a brighter future.
“Each year that I have worked here, I have received an increase in my salary that helps support my wife and allows me to pay my monthly bills on time – mortgage, car payment and various other bills. I enjoy working here because we are treated as family.”
“My husband and I rely on this job in order to support our daughter who is attending college. Not only do we receive a good salary, we receive benefits that include medical, 401(k), vacation time, and sick days. The Dosal family also gives us uniforms and protective eye and face wear. I would love to work at Dosal until I retire because they treat us like family and I enjoy working with my husband.”
